MyTake on this Month's Box

Its an interesting curation this month. Apart from the regular makeup, skincare and perfume, there is this footwear protection spray. I'm looking forward to using this completely new product. Forest Essentials is my favourite and I am glad they have sent me the teenage creams since i have very oily and acne prone skin, so i'm hoping these two creams will not be too heavy for my skin. The Votre After Sun Mist is also a welcome addition to the Box. I love a cool spritz on my face after an outing in the sun. I am loving the Essence Nail Polish and Eyeshadow. I have used them both and they are really nice! As for the Calvin Klein Eternity Perfume? Who does not like a vial ti keep in the purse and spray it on when the occasion demands?

Total Value of Box: INR 2076/- (approx). Excellent, sine you pay only 850/- for the box.

My Envy Box turned THREE this October. Anniversary editions of subscription boxes always have a buzz and we subscribers look forwards to specially curated Anniversary Boxes. So did My Envy Box live up to its hype on its 3rd Anniversary? Let's find out!

The Box looks a plain monochromatic but the Team actually wants you to colour the box and send them a pic and the winner will get a bestseller box worth INR 3000+ as prize. Well, I just did not get around to colouring my box, so definitely I'm not getting the prize!

So a total of 8 products in the October Box, instead of the standard 5 products. I wouldn't say its a mind-blowing Box, but its definitely generous. The Vichy, Forest Essentials and the Ayca body wash samples are decent sized. Three of the products are full sized. The curation is nice too, a mix of make up and skin and hair care products.  The only disappointing product in the Box is the nail art sticker set. Its not the kind of nail art I enjoy, but that's only a personal preference.

My Envy Box August 2015 Edition

Hi Everyone!

In the Indian Independence month,My Envy Box has chosen to celebrate India. The Box is a lovely festive maroon with gold accents. The artwork highlights all that our country is known for, the Taj Mahal, music, dance, festivals, diversity f religions and natural beauty!

Inside the box too, My Envy Box has curated Indian brands like Hedonista, Forest Essentials, Soul Tree, and Suganda. Let's look at the products a bit closely...

Hedonista Oudh Frozen Ittar

I enjoy applying Ittar. But this is my first brush with frozen ittar. It has a lovely warm smell, yet fresh. I can't put my finger on it, but it smells like one had just stepped out of the bath. I'm already using it and I love its lingering fragrance! 

Suganda Neem-Green Tea Mask

Made of completely organic ingredients, the product promises to sooth acne prone and sensitive skin. I have adult acne, so I'm looking forward to using this mask. I will let you know how it fares on me.

Soul Tree Ayurvedic Kajal

Soul Tree kajals are good, so I was excited to see it. However when I checked the shade, it left me disappointed. The shade is called Fern Green.It is one of the lightest shade in this collection. Its not that I do not wear green eye products, but this green isn't for me. It says on the box that it can be used as eyeshadow too. I'll test it as such and let you know what I finally think of it. 

Forest Essentials Body Mist in Iced Pomegranate & Kerala Lime

Forest Essentials is a really popular premium brand,so I was really happy to see a body mist in my Box! The fragrance is lovely, you can smell the freshness of the limes with just a hint of pomegranate. easily my current favourite when it comes to body mists!!

Total Value of the August Box: INR 3032/-. A great deal considering that one pays INR 850/- for a month's box.

So except for the kajal, I love all the other products....
